Maria Luisa Castanon Morales

Maria Luisa Castanon Morales, age 44, of Upper Sandusky, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021, in Marion, Ohio.

Maria was born on May 20, 1977, in Hidalgo, Mexico, to Agustin Castanon Gutierrez and Rosa Morales Ramos. Maria was married to Albino Gutierrez Morales in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and he survives.

Maria is also survived by her three children: Miriam Jasmin Gutierrez Castanon, Jenny Gutierrez Castanon, and Diego Gutierrez Castanon all of Upper Sandusky, four siblings: Estela Castaneda Morales of Mexico, Mister Castaneda Morales (Tanya) of Upper Sandusky, Angel Castanon Morales of Mexico, Claudia Castanon Morales (Oliverio Gregorio Gutierrez) of Mexico, and Lucia Castanon Morales (Arturo Otero Garcia) of Mexico, and her father Agustin Castanon Gutierrez of Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her mother Rosa Morales Ramos.

Maria loved spending time with her kids and husband. She enjoyed going camping and swimming, cooking, watching the Tela Novela's, and going to cookouts with family and friends. Maria was always happy and was always a fun person to be around. She will be dearly missed.

A funeral service for Maria Luisa Castanon Morales will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home with Friar John Bamman OFM Conv officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

A visitation for Maria Luisa Castanon Morales will be held from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at the Funeral Home.
