Lucille F. Bay

Lucille F. Bay, age 97, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 2:22pm at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.

Lucille was born on August 5, 1914 in Sawyer, Michigan to Delbert and Adelia (Wise) Dunham, both of whom are deceased. She married Roland C. Bay on November 26, 1935 in Albion, Indiana and he passed away on January 18, 2001.

Surviving are a son Arden (Linda) Bay of Upper Sandusky and a daughter Roleen Cattran of North Port, Florida along with 2 grandchildren Deana (Dan) Miller and Tom (Marcie) Bay both of Upper Sandusky and 5 great grandchildren, Luke and Nick Bay, Jenna Spitler, Brennen and Cory Miller.

Lucille was preceded in death by a brother John Dunham, and 4 sisters, Myrtle Kreiger, Olive Hanover, Bess Lachman and Laurabell Wortinger and a son in law Ray Cattran.

Lucille was a homemaker and a long time member of the First Lutheran Church in Upper Sandusky and a former member of the Ladies of the Moose Lodge #1093. She was also 1934 graduate of New Troy High School.

She was an avid reader and a fan of the Cleveland Indians and enjoyed following The Ohio State Buckeyes and Notre Dame Fighting Irish in both football and basketball. And most of all she cherished her time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Lucille F. Bay will be held at 10:00am Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

There will be no public calling hours.
