Louis "Pete" Yochem Jr

Louis P. Yochem Jr., 80, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, died at 2:20 am August 24, 2007 at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.

Louis was born October 28, 1926 in Tiffin, OH to Louis P. & Margery (Bellentine) Yochem Sr. and both are deceased. He married Barbara Garr on August 20, 1948 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and she survives in Upper Sandusky, OH. Also surviving is one son: Stephen Yochem of Upper Sandusky, OH, one daughter: Catherine Yochem of Upper Sandusky, OH, one granddaughter, two great grandchildren, one sister: Prudence Hering of Tiffin, OH & many other relatives.

Louis graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School. He then joined the U.S. Navy and served during WWII. Louis then served as the Director of the Laboratory for Wyandot Memorial Hospital for many years.

There will be a private graveside service held at the Old Mission Cemetery. There will be no visitations.
