Lorelai Xaelea Mullins, 14 months old, went home to be with Jesus at 4:26 am on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio.
Lorelai was born on April 8, 2023, in Toledo, Ohio, to Jerry and Robin (Swartz) Mullins, and they survive in Upper Sandusky.
Lorelai is also survived by her sister Ivory Mullins, her maternal grandma and grandpa Connie (Greg) Swartz of Tiffin, paternal great grandma Ruth Ward of Vanlue, paternal special great aunt Shirley Ward, her best friend Willow, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lorelai is also blessed to have a large "adopted" family that also survives: Linda Brown adopted grandma, Penny Phipps adopted grandma, Kary Kline adopted aunt, Jes King adopted grandma, Kathi Hurst adopted grandma, Penny Gates adopted aunt, and Chanda Groves adopted mother and all of her prayer warriors.
Lorelai was preceded in death by her maternal grandpa Ronnie Swartz, and her paternal grandparents Faith Hopkins and Jerry Mullins I.
Lorelai's favorite thing was her Dad, she would light up whenever she saw his face or heard his voice. Lorelai loved going on rides in the car, going camping with grandma and grandpa where she loved going for rides on the golf cart. Lorelai loved bumblebees, her dog Frida, her octopus music box from Brenda Koehler, Daniel Tiger, and her shiny red pom poms. Lorelai especially loved all of her prayer warriors and she loved getting cuddled and held while making kissy noises.
The family of Lorelai would like to thank Hanon Systems LLC of Carey, especially Linda Esterline, No One Fights Alone, Help Me Grow, Connie Smith and the Employees of East of Chicago Pizza, Lisa Stahr for her GoFundMe, Amanda Swinehart for coordinating the Bake Sale, Ronald McDonald House Charities, all of the staff at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, and ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital in Toledo for their wonderful care, and everyone else for their love, support, and prayers for the past 14 months.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home IN Upper Sandusky.
