Lonnie L. "Buck" Koehler

Lonnie L. "Buck" Koehler, age 62 of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 12:03am at his home in Upper Sandusky.

Lonnie was born on July 16, 1957 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Ivan and Dortha (Baker) Koehler, both of whom are deceased.  He married Anna York on March 2, 1984 in Harpster, Ohio and she survives.

He is also survived by 2 sons: Lonnie Koehler Jr. of Upper Sandusky, Matthew (Jessica) Koehler of Upper Sandusky, and a daughter, Tiffany (Brian) Thiel of Upper Sandusky. 9 grandchildren: Chasity, Noah, Jonah, and Porter Koehler, Preston, Jacob, Brianna, Zackary, and Carter Thiel.

Lonnie is also survived by 2 brothers, Tim (Karen) Koehler, and Al (Brenda) Koehler, both of Upper Sandusky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Sally Shull, and a brother Terry Koehler.

Lonnie was a 1975 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and went on to serve as a custodian at Union School for many years retiring in 2008.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

For hobbies Lonnie enjoyed working in his garden, fishing, cooking, and following the OSU Buckeyes, the Browns and Indians, along with the Columbus Clippers.

His greatest joy was being with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Funeral services for Lonnie "Buck" Koehler will be private with Rev. Ed Hunker officiating.
