Linda D. Ham

Linda D. (Brockert) Ham, 65, of Upper Sandusky, died on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland.

Born in Lima on March 29, 1947, she is the daughter of the late Gilbert A. and Evelyn M. (Crawford) Brockert. She married Donald G. Ham on June 21, 1966 in Wapakoneta, Ohio and he survives in Upper Sandusky.

Also surviving are three children: Daniel (Sandee) Ham of Arlington, Duane (Jenny) Ham of Nevada, and Melinda (Roy) Morais of Columbus, seven grandchildren: Shane, Luke, and Kyle Morais, Dylan, Sydney, Ellee, and Emilee Ham, two sisters: Jean (Lee) Dorsten of St Mary's and Jane (Vincent) Emerick of Chicago, ILL, three step children: Don (Kris) Ham, Jr., Linda Aseltine, and Ann Ham, seven step-grandchildren, nine step-great grandchildren, and four half-sisters.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a step-grandson.

A 1965 graduate of Wapakoneta High School, she retired from the Dana Corporation in Upper Sandusky where she was a laborer.

Linda was a member of John Stewart United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky, U.S. Coast Guard Auxillary from 1989 to 2009, and a life member of the Upper Sandusky AMVETS 777 Auxillary.

Crocheting, scrapbooking, gardening, flowers, boating and fishing were several of the things she enjoyed in life.

Her true passion in life was her children and grandchildren. She lived for her family.

A Gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013 at John Stewart United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Wayne Geissinger officiating.
