Lila Rose (Huysman) Roszman

Lila Rose Roszman, age 90, met her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Marion General Hospital.

Lila was born on May 3, 1934, in Findlay, Ohio, to Herbert A. and Rose M. (Miller) Huysman. Lila was married to Roy A. Roszman on April 21, 1973, and he preceded her in death on September 7, 1979.

Lila is survived by her beloved son Matthew H. Roszman, of Upper Sandusky.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Paula F.

Lila attended graduated from Arcadia High School in 1952 and attended college in Findlay. Lila worked in home health as an aide in Findlay, Upper Sandusky, and Marion. Lila also worked as a church secretary at Findlay College Church and several other churches over the years.

Lila spent her life loving her family, her Lord, and she was happy where she was employed. Constantly busy, Lila sought the best of life and in her later years she enjoyed her many cats, and collecting antiques. Lila also enjoyed writing poems for The Courier for many years.

A private graveside service was held at Harman Cemetery in Gilboa, Ohio.
