Lester "Lee" L. Christy

Lester "Lee" L. Christy, age 77, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 12:04pm at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
Lee was born on May 18, 1937 Apple Grove, West Virginia to Russell and Martha (Haley) Christy, both of whom are deceased. He married Luella Long on September 23, 1956 in Delaware, Ohio, and she survives in Upper Sandusky.
He is survived by a daughter, Brenda (Ted) Angles of LaRue, and a son Dave Christy of Upper Sandusky, along with 5 grandchildren, Melissa, Christie and Todd Angles, Kara Orians and Kendra Christy, and 12 great grandchildren.
Lee is also survived by a brother, Dale Christy of Delaware, and half brothers, John, Lawrence, Mitchell and Donald Meadows, and 4 half sisters, Betty Coe, Libby Gleba, Phyllis Starr and Sherry Friend, all of Lancaster.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Christy and a half sister, Louise.
Lee worked for over 35 years for Wampum Hardware Company as a blaster. For hobbies, he enjoyed watching westerns on tv and spending time with his family.
Funeral services for Lester L. Christy will be private.
