Leona Roszman

Leona Roszman, age 94, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky.

Leona was born on June 24, 1928, in Wyandot County, Ohio, to Ray and Mary (Bakies) Williams, both of whom are deceased. She married Walter Roszman on November 9, 1945, in Carey, and he passed away on April 20, 2011.

She is survived by 2 sons, Eugene A. (Sheila) Roszman of Upper Sandusky, and Dennis J. (Thia) Roszman of LaRue, Ohio, two daughters, Nancy Lahr of Upper Sandusky, and Jane Dunn of Upper Sandusky, Thirteen Grandchildren, Sonja Lahr, Nathan Lahr, Natalie (Ted) Esposito, Chad (Kim) Roszman, Celeste Ashbrook, Angela (Greg) Radabaugh, Douglas (Teresa) Liles, Jeffrey (Kim) Liles, Danielle (Kip) Luikhart, Jaime (Alex) Slagter, Josh Roszman, Brittany (Matt) Fox, and Jacob Roszman, 14 great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren.

Leona was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 7 brothers, Leo, Andrew, James, Russell, Glenn, and infant brothers, Ray Jr., and Sylvester, along with 3 sisters, Bernice Boyce,  Dorothy, and Esther Mae.

Leona was a homemaker and also helped her husband on the family farm for many years.

She enjoyed quilting, and tending to her garden.

Funeral services for Leona Roszman will be private with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
