Lawrence L. "Pete" Larick

Lawrence L. "Pete" Larick, age 92 of Upper Sandusky, Ohio
passed away on Friday, July 09, 2010 at 7:50pm at the Wyandot
County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky.

He was born on July 6, 1918 in Upper Sandusky to Lewis and Bertha (Moyer) Larick, both of whom are deceased. He married
Doris Martin on April 21, 1946 in Mt. Gilead, Ohio and she died
April 10, 2007.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with many
friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, wife, 2 brothers, Russell and Paul Larick and 4 sisters, Ruth Violet, Geneva Deitz, Evelyn Markley and Linda McEvoy.

Pete retired from the former Westinghouse Corporation in Upper Sandusky where he worked as a machinist for many years.
He was a veteran of the US Army having served in World War II.
in the following theaters, Algeria-French Morocco, Tunisia, Sicily,
Rome-Arno, Southern France, Rhineland-Central Europe and received 7 Bronze Stars having served in the above said major engagements.

He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Upper
Sandusky. A life member of the BPOE#83 and a member of the American Legion Post #225. For hobbies Pete enjoyed playing golf, cards and watching all sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians and Browns.

Funeral Services for Lawrence L. "Pete" Larick will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, July 13 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery where a military graveside rites will be conducted by the Upper Sandusky Veterans Color Guard.

Visitations will be held Monday, July 12 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
