Larry A. Lehman, age 72, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away on September 11, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Larry was born on March 5, 1939 in Bloom Township - Seneca County, Ohio to Donald R. Lehman and Luella M. (Bauer) Parsell, both of whom are deceased.

Larry Married Jacie (Herald) Lehman on February 13, 1960 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Upper Sandusky and she survives in Upper Sandusky.

Also surviving Larry are three children, Stephen A. (Dianne Holibaugh) of Lewis Center, Ohio, David E. (Lisa Reed) of Upper Sandusky, and Becky J. (Steve) Rhoden, seven grandchildren, Eric L. Lehman, Hilary A. (Scott) Dishon, S. Blake Lehman, Alec C. Lehman, Reid E. Lehman, Hunter A. Rhoden and Clayson S. Rhoden, a sister, Sue (Chuck) Barnette of Portage, MI, and a brother Darwin "Dag" (Pat) Parsell of Catawba Island, Ohio.

Larry graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1957 and then went on to attend Ohio University.

Larry was drafted into the U.S. Army by his friends and neighbors in February of 1962 where he served two years at Fort Sill, OK.

Larry worked at Fairfield Engineering Co. in Marion, Ohio for 47 years, retiring as Contract Manager in 2004; after retirement he worked at BPOE as a janitor (which was his life-long ambition).

Larry was baptized to Reformed Church in Bloomville, Ohio, he was a life member of BPOE #83, American Legion #225, Life member of AMVETS Post #777 and Moose Lodge #1093.

Funeral services for Larry A. Lehman will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Joe Trester officiating the service. Burial will follow at the Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be held on September 14, 2011 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky where an Elks Memorial Service will be held at 8:00pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Elks BPOE #83 Scholarship Fund in care of Lucas-Batton Funeral Home 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
