Larry L. Armstrong, Sr.

Larry L. Armstrong, age 74, of Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 12:40 pm at the James Cancer Center at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

Larry was born on June 13, 1948, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, to Carl and Marjorie (Hinton) Armstrong, both of whom are deceased.  He married Cynda Buckley on September 11, 2010 and she survives.

He is also survived by his children: Larry "Butch" Armstrong Jr., Eric (Lindsey) Armstrong and Tonya Armstrong, along with 7 grandchildren:  Elizabeth, Andrea, Rebecca, Rosalie "Rosie", Knox, Alex and Erica.

Larry also is survived by a brother Lynn (Marsha) Armstrong.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jereme Armstrong, a brother Gary Armstrong, and 2 sisters, Beverly Frazee and Joyce Bower.

Larry went to Highland High School and retired as a carpenter.

He was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Nevada, where he served as an usher.

Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and will be remembered for his love for the Lord and his church family.

Services for Larry L. Armstrong will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, August 15, 2022, at the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Nevada with Pastor Steve Malone officiating.  Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery.

Visitations will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the church on Monday.
