Kevin D. Johnson

Kevin D. Johnson, age 63, of Tiffin, Ohio, passed away at 2:19AM on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at the Tiffin Developmental Center.

Kevin was born in Marion, Ohio, on April 2, 1960, to Charles Johnson, and Dary (Erwin). Kevin is survived by his mother Dary Blankenship of Nevada, siblings: Shane (Jennifer) Johnson of Marion, Kelly (Tracy) Johnson of Kenton, Kimberly (Abdellah) Ksiri of Zanesville, and Yvonne (Jon) Craig of Knoxville, TN, along with his nieces and nephews: Keegan, Dustin, Douglas, Desirae, Orey, Dakota, Amelia, Sarah, Jessica, Devon, and Zakariya, and his great nieces and nephew, Leora, Ryan, Laila, Kris, and Tullie.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Charles Johnson, brother Shane Blankenship, and his grandparents Oliver and Edith Johnson, and Carl and Tressie Erwin.

Kevin was a resident of Tiffin Developmental Center for many years, and he knew everyone. He was very friendly and enjoyed working in the greenhouse, announcing the news on the radio, and going to the workshop to oversee everything. Kevin loved KFC chicken and always needed his Pepsi. He was very patriotic and was a big supporter of law enforcement. He loved flashlights, computers, and phones. Kevin especially loved spending time with his family.

A funeral service for Kevin Johnson will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.

Visitations will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
