Kenneth E. "Biff" Keister, age 57, of Nevada, and formerly of Crestline, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 10:46pm at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born on January 19, 1957 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia to Carl and Roberta (Kimbrough) Keister, both of whom are deceased. He was first married to Karen Sweitzer, and they divorced, and then married Leeann Wamack on August 6, 2006, and she survives in Nevada.
Kenneth is survived by 2 sons, Adam (Rebecca) Keister of Warsaw, Ohio, and Aaron (Kimberly) Keister of Bucyrus, along with 3 grandchildren, Ashton, Korwin and Kayley Keister.
Kenneth was retired and was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the Army.
For hobbies, Ken enjoyed the outdoors and also music. He was a member of the Hunky Dory Good Time Boys Band, where he played the wash tub base. Most of all he loved his family and enjoyed spending his time with boys.
A memorial service for Kenneth E. "Biff" Keister will be held at 5:00pm Thursday, September 25, at the Nevada United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ricky Chambers officiating.
Visitations will be held 1 hour before service time on Thursday at the church.
