Judy L. (Barth) Schuler

Judy L. Schuler, age 82, of Carey, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center.

Judy was born in Upper Sandusky on November 13, 1942, to William Henry and Dorothy (Disbennett) Barth. She married Charles "Chuck" R. Schuler on August 13, 1960, at First Lutheran Church in Upper Sandusky, and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2015.

Judy is survived by 2 daughters: Lois Elaine Jackson-O'Millian of Concord, North Carolina, and Brenda Kay Gravelle of Carey, Ohio. 3 Grandsons: Brent David (Anna) Jackson of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, Ryan Michael O'Millian of Longmont, Colorado, and Riley J. Gravelle of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and her brother Mike (Peggy) Barth of Upper Sandusky.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Dawn Marie Schuler, 2 brothers: Richard and Donald Barth, and 2 sisters: Marilyn Schoenberger and Sally Webster.

Judy graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1960 and then received her officers training at Owens Community College. Judy's career in law enforcement was with the Carey Police Department, and as a volunteer with the Wyandot County Sheriff's Auxiliary. Judy also worked at Ohio Uniforms in Mansfield, Ohio, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, and she started her own business, Judy's Attic.

For hobbies, Judy enjoyed gardening, painting, and crafting. She loved to travel with Chuck, and most of all, Judy loved the Lord.

A funeral service for Judy Schuler will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitations will be held from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the funeral home on Saturday, prior to the service.
