Juanita M. (Turner) Arnold

Juanita M. Arnold, age 83, of Upper Sandusky, and formerly of Marseilles, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 11:40pm at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Upper Sandusky.

Juanita was born on May 5, 1939 in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Truman and Maud (Andre) Turner, both of whom are deceased.  She was once married to James E. Arnold and he is deceased.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Rick (Barb) Arnold, Kenneth Arnold, and David (Jennifer) Arnold, all of Marseilles.  4 grandchildren, Mike King Jr., Brad (Charlene) Adrian, Matthew (Lindsay) Adrian, and Alexa (Jarred) Tovrea-Treft, along with 2 great grandchildren, Chandler King, and William Adrian, and a son in law, Mike King Sr. of Upper Sandusky.

Juanita was preceded in death by her daughters, Vicky Adrian and Debra King, son in law, William Adrian, 3 brothers, Ralph, Clarence and Truman Jr., and 3 sisters, Iona Stansbery, Myrtle Oliver, and Helen Von Derau.

She was a 1957 graduate of Marseilles High School and went on raise her children as a homemaker and later worked at the Fairhaven Community for 25 years as a state certified nurse assistant.

She attended Marseilles United Methodist Church.

Juanita enjoyed gardening, watching NASCAR and OSU football, doing crossword and word search puzzles, along with reading.

A celebration of life service for Juanita Arnold will be held at 11:00am Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Pastor Doug Pummell officiating. Burial will follow at Chandler Cemetery.

Visitations will be held 2 hours before service time, from 9:00am to 11:00am, on Saturday, January 7, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home.
