Juanita Easter

Georgia Juanita Easter, age 86 of Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in the Emergency Room of Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

Juanita was born on March 29, 1934 in Porter-Wheelersburg, (Portsmouth), Ohio to Everett and Carrie (Boggs) Armstrong, both of whom are deceased.  She married Elbert Easter on September 3, 1951 in Wheelersburg, Ohio and he passed away on January 8, 2015.

She is survived by 5 children, Marsena Adams of Nevada, David (Tammy) Easter of Chatfield,  Mae Brewster of Nevada, Kay Huston of Marion, and Beth (Paul) Houseburg of Nevada. Five grandchildren, Elbert Allen (Candy) Brewster, Kevin (Amy) Brewster, Michael Brewster, Dana Newland, and Michelle Houseburg, along with eight great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter. And a son in law Paul Brewster of Attica.

Juanita is also survived by 2 brothers, George (Sherry) Armstrong of Wheelersburg, and James (Francis) Armstrong of Upper Sandusky and a sister Shirley Armstrong of St. Petersburg, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Jean Brewster, great grandchild Raya Lynn Brewster, a brother Carl Donald Armstrong, and a sister Jean Godair.

Juanita was a homemaker and had worked at a variety manufacturers in Upper Sandusky and Tiffin, and a member of the former Oceola United Methodist Church.

For hobbies she enjoyed cooking, vegetable and flower gardening, reading poems, cookbooks and her bible, along with watching WLMB-TV 40 in Toledo.  She also enjoyed the company of her 2 beloved cats, Pedals and Toby, and most of all she loved to be with her family.

Due to current restrictions on gatherings services will be private with burial taking place at Nevada Cemetery in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Richard Haner officiating.
