J.P. Morgan

J.P. Morgan, age 60, of Nevada, Ohio died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 3:00pm
at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio.

J.P. was born on November 11, 1949 in Bucyrus, Ohio to James E. and M. Jane (Long) Morgan both of whom are deceased. He was once married to Joyce Zornes and they divorced. He then married Lynn Diane (Fatzinger) Morgan on November 16, 1986 at their home in Nevada, Ohio and she survives in Nevada.

Also surviving J.P. are four children, Gerald, Angie (Skip), Steve, and Tina, seven grandchildren, Victor, Elizabeth, Kirsten, Joseph, Brittany, Kara, and Seth, two great grandchildren, Emma and Lillymae.

J.P. was preceded in death by a son, A.J.

J.P. graduated from Wynford High School in 1968 he then worked as a machinist at Coupled Products-Dana Corp in Upper Sandusky for 26 years. He was currently serving the Village of Nevada on the Board of Public Affairs.

J.P. was an avid bowler having bowled in many leagues over the years. He also was a race car enthusiast having owned and operated his own late model, sprint car and e-mod racing cars. He was an Ohio State fan, a former little league coach and umpire.

Funeral services for J.P. Morgan will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada, Ohio with the Rev. Willard Delaney and the Rev. Matt Garrabrant officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Nevada Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada, Ohio.
