Joyce K. Lust

Joyce K. Lust of rural Morral, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 12:30am at her residence surrounded by her family.

Joyce was born on February 26, 1939 in Marion, Ohio to Charles Cloran and Ethel Marie (Grant) Faine. She married Darrel Lust on January 27, 1963 in Marion, Ohio and he survives.

Surviving Joyce are two children Brenda (Kenn) Runkle and Tom (Tina) Lust both of Morral, Ohio, four grandchildren, Emily, Daniel, Clayton and Isaac.

Joyce is also survived by two sisters, Ginny (Gary) Murray and Anna Mae Baker both of Marion, and nieces and nephews, Jeff Baker, Cindy Baker, Gregg Murray, Grant Murray, Carol Smith, Linda Turner, Pam Sail, Dan Faine, Joel Lust and Karen Knopp along with a sister in law, Avanelle Faine and 2 brother in laws Merrel Lust and Sherman Smith.

Joyce was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Faine and a sister Margaret Smith.

Joyce was a homemaker and a member of Grand Prairie Baptist Church for over 40 years where she helped in the nursery, former treasurer and helped with Vacation Bible School in the summer. She was a 1957 graduate of Harding High School in Marion.

Joyce loved taking care of the yard, raising flowers, traveling with her family and especially spoiling her grandchildren.

Funeral services for Joyce K. Lust will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Grand Prairie Baptist Church in Brush Ridge, Ohio with the Rev. Gene Parker officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Grand Prairie Cemetery in Brush Ridge.

Visitations will be held from 4pm - 8pm on Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky and one hour prior to service time at the church on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Grand Prairie Baptist Church, Scleroderma Foundation, or the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon in care of the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
