Joseph C. Wilson

Joseph C. Wilson, age 69, of Bucyrus, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11:40am at Bucyrus Community Hospital.

Joe was born on June 4, 1953 in Bucyrus to James A. and Kathryn C. "Katie" (Green) Wilson, both of whom are deceased.  He married Susan Ann Baker on June 4, 1978, and she survives in Ashland, Ohio.

He is survived by Denise (Ryan) Schwer of Clermont, Florida, Amanda Land of Lake Wales, Florida, Gary Alan (Jessica) Spears, Jr., of Lakeland, Florida, and Kristina West of Lake Wales, Florida.  14 grandchildren, Chaise, Jande, Natalie, Matthew, Caleb, Connor, Jamie, Alicia, Sean, Hunter, Brooke, Ayden, Robert and Alana and 1 great grandchild, Jasper.

Joe is also survived by 3 brothers, Rev. J. Roger Wilson of Lansing, Michigan, Michael Wilson of Nevada, Ohio, and Dennis (Terri) Wilson of Sycamore, Ohio.

Joe was a 1971 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and went on to work in the medical field as a EKG Technician.  He also worked as a restaurant manager, truck driver and diesel mechanic, and also served as an ordained pastor.

He attended the Family Worship Center in Lakeland, Florida, along with Marion Christian Center, and Victory in Truth Ministries, Bucyrus.

For hobbies he enjoyed collecting old cars, watching Star Trek, listening to music, especially The Carpenters, and singing in church.

A funeral service for Joseph C. Wilson will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be held 1 hour before service time, from 10:00am to 11:00am, on Wednesday at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home.
