John C. Foreman, age 92, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio and formerly of Morral, Ohio died on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 3:15pm at Fairhaven North in Upper Sandusky.

John was born on December 22, 1916 in Logan County, Ohio to Ira and Fay (Bennett) Foreman, both of whom are deceased.

John was a farmer for many years and also raised cattle. He enjoyed watching the geese at killdeer plains in Wyandot County, taking his nieces and nephews for rides and spending time his with family. John defined the word neighbor, as he was a friend to all.

John is survived by 32 nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Paul Foreman, Lawrence Foreman, and Ralph Foreman, five sisters: Margaret Fisher, Gladys Siebeneck, Pauline Fisher, Doris Foreman, and Clarabelle Barry.

Funeral services for John C. Foreman will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 12, 2009 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada, Ohio with the Rev. Jackie Underhill officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Grand Prairie Cemetery in Brush Ridge, Ohio.

Visitations will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 2pm - 4pm at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairhaven North or The Harpster United Methodist Church and may be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home PO Box 98 Nevada, Ohio 44849.
