John Richard Blake

John Richard Blake, age 72, of Upper Sandusky, died at 11:15am on November 22, 2008 at Wyandot County Home and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
Richard was born on December 13, 1935 in Seaman, Ohio to John C. and Helen J. (Hill) Blake, both of whom are deceased.
He worked at Angeline Industries for many years and for hobbies he enjoyed listening to country music and loved watching westerns. Richard was able to fulfill his life long dream of going to Nashville, Tennessee where he visited many sites, including the Grand Ole Opry. Richard was also a member of the Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church in Upper Sandusky.
Graveside services for Richard will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 3:00pm at the Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Charles Steward officiating the service.
Friends may come to call on Tuesday, November 25 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
