Jesse E. Barth

Jesse E. Barth, age 59, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio died Friday, December 19, 2008 at 2:15pm at his home in Upper Sandusky.

Jesse was born on January 28, 1949 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Harry F. and Bertha F. (Reinhard) Barth, both of whom are deceased.

He married Sheridan (Sherry) M. Snook on May 2, 1970 in Union United Methodist Church in rural Upper Sandusky, and
she survives.

Jesse is survived by two sons, Jason E. (Paige) Barth of Upper Sandusky and Brian P. (Jennifer) Barth of Sycamore. And a daughter, Erin M. Robison of Carey, Ohio. Also surviving are ten grandchildren: Jared, Trevor, Kyle, Drew, Mya, Katelyn, Kelsey, Lia, Kameron and Emma.

He is also survived by a brother, Howard F. Barth of Upper Sandusky.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Frederick E. Barth.

Jesse was last employed by Triumph Thermal Systems in Forest, Ohio. His previous employment included Tecumseh Products in Marion for 16 years and Tower Automotive in Upper Sandusky for 23 years, where he worked in Quality Control and then in the Tool and Die Department.

Jesse was a member of the Union-Salem United Methodist Church in rural Upper Sandusky. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served in the Vietnam War Era. For hobbies, he enjoyed working on antique clocks, hunting and target shooting and working with his aquariums of fresh water fish.

Funeral services for Jesse E. Barth will be at 11:00am Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. The Rev. Brandon Keck will be officiating.

Visitations will be Monday, December 22 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
