Jerry Soule

Jerry Soule, age 77, of Forest, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at his home in Forest.

Jerry was born, June 13, 1945, in Marion, Ohio to Richard and Vera (Taylor) Soule, both of whom are deceased.  He was first married to Sharon Brown, and then married Stephony Preble Bartholomew on May 27, 1994, and she survives

He is survived by his daughters Dawn (Mark) McQuown of Upper Sandusky, Jodi (Walt) Stuermer of Rochester Hills, Michigan, and Andrea (Rich Seifert) Fairchild of Upper Sandusky.  8 grandchildren, Riley (Eric) McQuown Shafer, Delaney (Collin Brown) McQuown, Lyndsey McQuown, Drew Stuermer, Sydney Stuermer, Amber Davis, Rachel (Matt) Nye and Brendan Fairchild, great granddaughter Ellie Nye, soon to be great granddaughter Baby Shafer, and a sister Jean Ellen Grove of Upper Sandusky.

Jerry was a 1963 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, and has been an employee at Romich Sales and Service in Upper Sandusky since 1986.

He was a member of the Indian Mill Antique Association, Wyandot County Cornhuskers Association and American Legion in Upper Sandusky and in Forest.

Jerry enjoyed hunting and antique tractor collecting and restoration. He participated in many antique tractor pulls and you could always find him showcasing his Case tractors at the county fair.  In his younger years he liked racing cars. He was very creative in designing and making furniture and lighting fixtures using antique parts.  Jerry was also a huge animal lover.

A funeral service for Jerry Soule will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, with Pastor Steve Sturgeon officiating.

Visitations will be held 2 hours prior to the service on Sunday, from 1:00-3:00 pm, at the Lucas Batton funeral home.
