Jeanette Gottfried

Jeanette Gottfried, age 71, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 5:00 am at the Heritage Village of Clyde, in Clyde, Ohio.

Jeanette was born on November 11, 1952, in Homer, Michigan, to Robert and Orgie (Marshall) Hawkworth, both of whom are deceased.  She married Robert A. Gottfried on March 9, 1974, and he survives.

She is survived by her son, Rob L. (Terri) Gottfried of Marion, and 3 grandchildren, Haliana, Skylee, and Arison Gottfried.

Jeanette is also survived by a brother, Carl (Joyce) Hackworth of Carey, and two sisters, Sue Hackworth of Fostoria, and Darlene Jenkins of Oak Hill, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Andrea, her two brothers, Chuck Hackworth and David Hackworth.

Jeanette was a STNA at Fairhaven for many years, and also the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God in Carey, where she was a member of the PTL women's group of the church.

For hobbies Jeanette enjoyed were reading her bible and spending time with her family.

Funeral services for Jeanette Gottfried will take place privately with Pastor Joe Turner officiating.
