Jean M. Mccrary

Jean M. McCrary, age 79, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away Monday, September 20, 2010 at 4:50am at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky.

Jean was born on March 20, 1931 to Rush and Dorothy (Balduf) McCrary both of whom are deceased.

Jean is survived by a sister Kathleen Ann McCrary of Upper Sandusky.

Jean graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1949. She was the owner and agent of McCrary Insurance Agency where she represented Motorist Insurance and Miami Mutual.

Jean was a member of John Stewart United Methodist Church where she was a member of the church choir, and the administrative council in 1985 and the nomination committee. For hobbies Jean enjoyed fishing, swimming, and canoeing and also collecting native american memorabilia and she supported many Native American Children Organizations.

Funeral services for Jean M. McCrary will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sanduskywith the Rev. Wayne Geissinger officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

Memorial contributions may be made to the John Stewart United Methodist Church, Wyandot Memorial Hospital, or the St. Josephs Indian School and Mission in care of Lucas-Batton Funeral Home 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
