Jason L. Sines

Jason L. Sines, age 61, of Upper Sandusky, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

Jason was born in Delaware, Ohio, on June 11, 1964, to Jasper and Shirley (Huff) Sines, and they preceded him in death.

Jason is survived by the mother of his children, Teresa (Rogers) Johnson, 3 daughters, Tia (Aric) Schirmer of Nevada, Tara (Tom) Sines of Carey, Tonya (Gene) Altvater of Upper Sandusky, 6 grandchildren, Jude and Lily Schirmer, Arianna, Jon and Mikayla Fredritz, and Jessica Hensley, and 4 great-grandchildren. Jason is also survived by his brother Mark (Robin) Huff of Kentucky, and sister Mandy Wass of Florida.

Jason was preceded in death by his brother, John Sines, and 2 sisters, Deb (Oliver) Madison and Alicia Sines.

Jason graduated from Delaware Hayes High School and then joined the United States Army. Most recently, Jason worked at Speedway in Upper Sandusky.

For hobbies, Jason enjoyed golfing and bowling, and played in leagues for both over the years. He also enjoyed running and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
