Janie Ann Markin, age 56, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away on January 1, 2016 at her home in Findlay.
Janie was born on December 4, 1959 in Ashland, Kentucky to Homer and Anna (Morris) Markin, both of whom are deceased.
She is survived by a daughter, Jessica Ann Sorg of Upper Sandusky, and Joshua (Jennifer) Sorg of Baltimore, Maryland, along with 3 grandchildren.
Janie is also survived by a sister, Teresa (Kenneth) Null of Findlay, and a brother, Perry Markin of Paris, Kentucky. Along with numerous family and friends.
Janie worked as a LPN at various nursing homes in Findlay, and also at one time worked as a beautician in Carey and also in Findlay.
For hobbies, she enjoyed flowers, crocheting, sewing, and shopping. She was a woman of faith and will be remembered by her giving spirit to others.
Funeral services for Janie Ann Markin will be private.
