Janet K. "Jan" Lavalle

Janet "Jan" K. LaValle, age 62, of rural Upper Sandusky, Ohio
passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 9:05am in her home.

Jan was born on March 26, 1948 in Findlay, Ohio to Grant & Maxine (Bushong) Borkosky, both of whom are deceased. She married Joseph LaValle on January 4, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York and he survives.

Surviving also is a daughter, Jennifer LaValle and her fiancAC. Terry White of Centerville, Ohio. A brother, Bryan (Christine) Borkosky of Upper Sandusky, two sisters, Carole Gillett of Eugene, Oregon and Mareetta (Ebby) Brewer of Lancaster, Ohio. And special friends, Debbie Gehret of Sarasota, Florida and Robert Demmings of East Tawas, Michigan.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents and a son Joseph G. "Joey" LaValle.

She was a homemaker and a 1966 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School. She later went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant. For hobbies Jan enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, doing ceramics and she loved her animals.

Funeral Services for Janet K. LaValle will be held at 5:00pm Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be held on Friday, October 22, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
