Janet R. (Dutt) Kinley

Janet R. Kinley, age 89, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 4:43am at Westbrook Assisted Living and Memory Care in Upper Sandusky.

Janet was born on October 7, 1932 in Marion, Ohio, to Fred and Mildred (Parker) Dutt; her mother passed away and her father married Pauline Vandersall.

She married Neil Kinley on August 19, 1950 and he passed away on September 22, 2020.

She is survived by her 2 children, Debbie (Sadler) Barnhardt of Charlotte, North Carolina and Phil (Melissa) Kinley of Marion. 2 grandchildren, Seth (Alyson) Kinley and Lauren (Jeff) Jones, along with 4 great grandchildren, Leah and Sienna Kinley, Lillian and Nora Jones. Along with 2 brothers, Wilfred "Wil" (Patty) Dutt of Kirkland, Washington, Ron (Rose) Dutt of Carlsbad, California, and a sister, Sue (Dave) Dutt Truitt of Landrum, South Carolina.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 brothers, Ken Dutt, and Herb Dutt.

Janet was a dedicated homemaker and also volunteered for various organizations and ministries. Her joy was her faith, family and dear friends.

She was a 70 plus year member of Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church, where she attended Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class, and also taught at one time Children's Sunday School.

For hobbies she enjoyed reading, playing the piano and singing in a ladies trio, traveling with Neil to the family cottage in Petoskey, Michigan and visiting family in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.

Funeral services for Janet R. Kinley will be held at 11:00am Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. The service will be live streamed at www.mytrinity.us. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:30am to 11:00am, Friday, January 7, 2022 at the church before the funeral service.
