Janet C. Blum, 67, of Forest, Ohio died at 6:55pm on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Fairhaven Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
Janet was born on March 26, 1941 in Raymond, Ohio to Clarence and Ione (Armstrong) Connolly. Her mother survives in Kenton, OH. Her father preceded her in death.
She is survived by four Children: Dean (Deb) Blum of Akron, Ohio, Andi (Matt) Knight of Lima, Ohio, Beth (Brent) Thomas of Forest, Ohio, and Bill (Tammie) Blum, Jr. of Wharton, Ohio, nine grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren.
Janet is also survived by one sister: Linda Nelson of Round Mountain, California, and two brothers: Tom Connolly of Boulder, Colorado, and John Connolly of Kenton, Ohio.
Janet graduated from Richwood High School in 1959 and attended OSU - Marion and Marion Technical College. She worked as an Accountant/Office Manager for Scioto Sign Inc. in Kenton, Ohio. She attended the Church of God at the Crossroads and Marseilles Presbyterian.
A memorial service for Janet will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Pastor Randy Bargerstock, officiating the services. Private burial will follow at the Tymochtee Cemetery near Marseilles, Ohio.
Visitations will be held from 1:00pm - 2:00pm on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and may be sent to Lucas-Batton 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
