James H. Williams

James H. Williams, age 66, of rural Bucyrus, Ohio, died at 1:26 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Bucyrus Community Hospital.

James was born on October 5, 1943 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Harold C. and Velma (Kissling) Williams both of whom are deceased. James married Bonnie L. (Jury) Williams on December 7, 1963 in Wyandot, Ohio and she survives in rural Bucyrus.

Surviving James are three children: Lisa (Gerry) Hoffman of Nevada, Ohio, Laci (Troy) Showalter of Edison, Ohio, and Andy Williams of Bucyrus, Ohio, four grandchildren: Emily and Sara Hoffman, and Samantha and Colton Showalter.

Also surviving James are three brothers: Noel (Donna) Williams of Bucyrus, Ohio, Art (Donna) Williams of Lexington, Ohio, and Michael (Candy) Williams of Nevada, Ohio.

James was a 1961 graduate of Nevada High School. He worked at Cobey Manufacturing and then at C & D Jury Farms & Trucking in Bucyrus, Ohio where he retired in 2007.

James attended Harpster United Methodist Church in Harpster, Ohio. For hobbies James enjoyed trap shooting, hunting and fishing, the outdoors, cutting wood, bird watching and bird feeding, and most of all spending time with his family.

Funeral services for James H. Williams will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 30, 2009 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio with the Rev. Soo-Hea Park officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Grand Prairie Cemetery in Brush Ridge, Ohio.

Visitations will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 2:00pm - 6:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
