James "Bo" L. Mcmichael

James L. "Bo" McMichael, age 56, of Oceola, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 5:10am at Heartland of Bucyrus, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bo was born on June 5, 1959 in Bucyrus, Ohio, to John E. McMichael of Bucyrus, and the late Connie Sayre.

Bo is survived by his father, Giles A. Whitlow of Mansfield, Ohio and a brother, Tony Whitlow and his partner, Steven Meade of Goodyear, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his mother Connie, step-father, Tom Sayre.

Bo was a total free spirit and lived life to the fullest, never leaving any stone unturned.  His adventure of life often separated him from his family over the years but his warm heart and infectious laughter were always welcomed and somehow worked out.  Bo always did what he wanted and it wasn't until the last few months of his life did he want to right all of the wrongs, and enjoy family time with those he loved.

Funeral services for James "Bo" McMichael will be held at 2:00pm Monday, June 6, 2016 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating.

Visitations will be held two hours before the service on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

Burial will follow at Chandler Cemetery in Marseilles, where he will be laid to rest next to his mother and stepfather.
