James Phillip Hagenbuch, age 75, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 4, 2024, in Kenton, Ohio.
Jim was born on May 1, 1949, in Fremont, Ohio, to Rev. George Hagenbuch and Ruth (Christensen) Hagenbuch. Jim was once married to Anita Hagenbuch.
Jim is survived by his adopted grandson Brendan (Jessica) Davis of Findlay, Ohio, brothers: Paul (Carol) Hagenbuch of Utah, John Hagenbuch of Utah, and 12 nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, ex wife Anita, and his sister in law Joyce Hangenbuch.
Jim graduated from Fostoria High School. He worked as a truck driver for most of his career, until his retirement.
Jim, aka "Tacklebox," enjoyed watching wrestling, MMA, and football with his friends. He had a different hat for every occasion, and he also enjoyed watching Gun Smoke and other old westerns in his free time. In his earlier years, Jim enjoyed going on drives through the country to enjoy the scenery.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
