James A. Coppler

James A. Coppler, age 59, of Galion and formerly of Carey, Ohio, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Signature Healthcare of Galion, Ohio.

Jim was born on February 19, 1956 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Robert and Evelyn (Plott) Coppler, both of whom are deceased.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Larry Coppler of Carey, Michael Coppler of Upper Sandusky, and a sister, Linda Coppler of Upper Sandusky, and his "grand baby" Titus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Roy, Robert, Paul and David Coppler.

Jim worked for the past 10 years at Waycraft Industries in Bucyrus. He
was a member in his younger years of Christ Lutheran Church in Carey.

For hobbies he liked to do arts and crafts, listen to music, especially Johnny Cash and Elvis, and following the OSU Buckeyes. Jim also enjoyed his cat "Buffy", and he really loved to be with people, especially his friends. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services for James A. Coppler will be held at 11:00am Friday, August 28, 2015 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Rev. Matt Smith and Tyler Stuckert officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey, Ohio.

Visitations will be held on Thursday, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
