James D. Campbell, age 80, of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 3:00AM at his home in Marion.
James was born on January 23, 1932 in Charleston, West Virginia to James N. and Belva D. (Haynes) Campbell, both of whom are deceased. He was married to Beryl Churchill and she is deceased.
Surviving are a brother Jerry (Jinette) Campbell of Bucyrus and 2 sisters, Luverna (Ronald) Rossington of Bucyrus and Patsy (Lawrence) Gardner of Nevada, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother David and sisters Irene, Emma Gay and Frances.
James was self employed and was a member of the Church of God in Gallipolis, Ohio, American Legion Post 584, Eagles Club and Moose Lodge 889, all of Marion, Ohio.
For hobbies, James enjoyed vegetable gardening and loved to be with his family and friends and will be deeply missed by those in his life.
It was James wish to be cremated and that his services be private. Burial will take
place at a later date in Nevada Cemetery.
