James E. Bickham, age 87 of Cocoa Beach, Florida and formerly of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on November 1, 2012 in the Williams Chiles Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida.
Jim was born on March 31, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio to William C. A. and Hallie (Hildreth) Bickham, both of whom are deceased. He married Barbara L. Bowman on March 23, 1958 and she died October 26, 2007.
Surviving is a brother William Bickham of Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a sister Myldred Bickham Hopf.
Jim was an owner of the former Wyandot Burial Vault Company that was located in Upper Sandusky.
He was a graduate of the Ohio State University in Columbus and a veteran of the US Navy having served during World War II.
For hobbies he and his wife Barbara enjoyed participating in various auto rally competitions throughout the United States and Canada and spending time walking the beach together in Florida.
It was Jim's wish to be cremated with services to be held privately.
