Ina F. Jerome

Ina F. Jerome, age 91, of Upper Sandusky, and formerly of Marion, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at 1:20pm at the Wyandot Memorial Hospital In Upper Sandusky, Ohio

Ina was born on October 8, 1920 in Union County, Ohio to George and Josephine Blummenschein, both of whom are deceased. She was first married to Howard Griffin and then upon his passing she married Ralph Jerome and he is also deceased.

Surviving is a daughter, Sharon (James) Jury of Nevada and 2 grandchildren, Lt. Col. Matt (Erin) Jury of Newport News, Virginia and Andrea (Will) Garrett of Evans, Georgia along with 4 great grandchildren, Alexa and Taylor Jury, Lillie and Hannah Garrett.

Ina is also survived by her twin sister Nina Griffith of Findlay, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a brother, Wilbur Blummenschein, and 2 sisters, Arvada Dye and Evelyn Hoffman.
Ina was a homemaker and had worked during World War II at the Marion Engineer Depot in the Ordinance Plant and then later at Freezer Queen near Nevada.

She was a member of the Harpster United Methodist Church where she enjoyed
helping in the kitchen at various church activities and as a resident of Fairhaven, she was a member of the Fairhaven Community Handbell Choir. For hobbies she enjoyed card playing, especially euchre, raising flowers, and cooking.

Funeral services for Ina F. Jerome will be private with burial taking place at
Grand Prairie Cemetery.

There will be no public calling hours.
