Ian D. Ekleberry

Ian D. Ekleberry, age 43, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Ian was born on May 10, 1977, in Berwyn, Illinois to Michael and Deborah (Riordan) Ekleberry.  His mother has passed and his father Michael and his wife, Jayne, survived in Canton, Ohio.

He was first married to Ethyl Baldimor who has passed away.  He then married Tenneil Welborn on October 17, 2020, and she survives.

He is also survived by a daughter Kaylee, and a son, Izaiah.  He is also survived by a brother Sean Ekleberry of Chula Vista, California, and his paternal grandmother Mary Ekleberry of Upper Sandusky.

Ian was a 1995 graduate of Morton High School of Cicero, Illinois and had been employed at Advance Auto in Marion the last few years.  Before that he worked for Lowes in Tiffin.

He was a member of Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky where he served as a trustee.   He was a member of the Boy Scouts of American where he earned his Eagle Scout.

For hobbies, he enjoyed collecting anything Nike, and also loved to follow his Chicago sports teams, the Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox, along with the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Memorial Services for Ian D. Ekleberry will be held at 11:00 am Monday, January 25, 2021at Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating.
