Helen M. Frank, age 79, of Nevada and most recently she has been a resident of Heartland of Bucyrus, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 6:18am at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Helen was born on January 4, 1932 to Nelson and Alverda (Candel) Rothhaar both of whom are deceased. She married George E. Frank on February 19, 1950 in Bucyrus, and he passed away on November 12, 1994.

Helen is survived by two sons, David (Sally) Frank of Paulsbo, Washington and Edward Frank and his fiancAC. Brenda Ferguson of Mansfield, Ohio, two daughters, Diane (Steven) Tackett of Nevada, and Charlene (Michael) Orosz of Silverdale, Washington, along with eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a sister Ruth Smith of Bucyrus.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a granddaughter Kimi Orosz, a brother, Richard Rothhaar, and two sisters, Arlene Sheehan and Barbara Risinger.

Helen was a homemaker and worked for 20 years motor route deliverer for the Telegraph Forum in Bucyrus.

She was a charter member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Bucyrus where she sang in the church choir for 55 years, served as a Sunday school teacher for 22 years, and did mission work through the church. Helen also was a volunteer at the Bucyrus Community Hospital and also with the telephone "help line" in Crawford county.

For hobbies Helen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading and writing, and enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Funeral services for Helen M. Frank will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Bucyrus, with the Rev. Ray Lasalle officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Nevada Cemetery in Nevada.

Visitations will be held from 5pm - 8pm on Friday, April 8, 2011at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada and one hour prior to service time on Saturday at the church in Bucyrus.
