Hazel L. Spillman

Hazel L. Spillman, age 70, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio died Monday
July 12, 2010 at 1:05am at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.

Hazel was born on May 22, 1940, in Forest, Ohio to Charlie Earl and Florence Ettie (Johnson) Bell, both of whom are deceased. She married Paul Howard Spillman on March 7, 1965 and he passed away on May 8, 1980.

Surviving Hazel is a daughter, Bonnie (Mike) Stansbery of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, two grandchildren, Trevor Harrod of Upper Sandusky, and Mandy Shull of Upper Sandusky, one sister, Goldie Ward of Bucyrus, Ohio, and a brother, Donald Bell of Upper Sandusky.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister, Gladys Cupik, and four brothers, Herbert Bell, Orville Bell, Stanley Bell, and Charles Bell.

Hazel worked at Orbitron Plastics in Upper Sandusky for many years. She enjoyed music and singing karaoke, collecting ducks, doing crossword puzzles, shopping, traveling with the senior citizens, and she enjoyed any type of history.

Funeral services for Hazel L. Spillman will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Jackie Underhill officiating.

Visitations will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 6pm - 8pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
