Grace E. Kotterman

Grace E. Kotterman, age 97, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 3:17pm at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

Grace was born on January 5, 1911 to Elton and Clara (Zulauf) Bachtell in Antrim Township - Wyandot County, Ohio. She later married Ned Kotterman on December 27, 1930, he is deceased.

Grace is survived by one son Thomas (Naneen) Kotterman of Wharton, Ohio, one daughter Barbara Moon of Zanesville, Ohio, 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great great granddaughters. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ned, a daughter, Kathleen Felchlin , son in law, Robert Felchlin and 2 grandsons.

Grace was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ in rural Upper Sandusky where she was active in the church guild. For hobbies she enjoyed word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, knitting and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at 3:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio with the Rev. Martin Stiffler officiating . Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

Friends may come to call on Sunday, July 6 from 1-3pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
