Fred R. Larick, age 68, of Upper Sandusky, passed away peacefully at his home, on Friday, November 8, 2024.

Fred was born on September 17, 1956, in Upper Sandusky, to Carl Larick and Rosey (Bryant) Riedel and they preceded him in death. Fred married Suzanne Huffman Wilde on August 4, 1989, in Marseilles, Ohio, and she survives in Upper Sandusky.

Fred is also survived by his son Steven Wilde of Upper Peninsula, Michigan, 2 granchildren; Rachel Suzanne Fraker of Hawaii, and Samuel Wilde of Michigan, sister Paula Riedel of Lima, 3 half sisters, Teresa Gottfried, Kathy Larick, and Tina Larick all of Upper Sandusky.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, half brother Rex Larick, and half sister Carolyn Barry.

Fred attended Upper Sandusky High School and went on to work at Engineered Wire Products as soon as he turned 18 years old. He worked there for 40 years, until his retirement.

Fred was a member of AMVETS Post 777, and Moose Lodge #1093 in Upper Sandusky.

Fred rode Harley Davidson's for 50 years and loved going on rides. Fred and Sue enjoyed traveling all over the country. Fred was the life of the party, and he lived his life to the fullest. Fred was ornery, and always had fun. He enjoyed drinking Budweiser with his friends, spending time outside working on his yard, and he loved his cat Jasper.

Per Fred's wishes, there will be no funeral arrangements.
