Frank Barth

Edward F. "Frank" Barth, age 73 of Bucyrus, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Heartland in Bucyrus, Ohio where he has resided the last 7 years.

Frank was born on June 15, 1947, in Bucyrus, Ohio to Edward J. "Junior" and Margaret (Dill) Barth, both of whom are deceased.  He married Rosetta Brown on May 17, 1968 and she passed away on October 8, 2013.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Nicole (Dean) Van Horne of Charleston, West Virginia, and Lori (fiancé Gary Butts) Barth of Nevada. Along with 7 grandchildren, Georgia Frank, Trevor Fultz, Tyler Striker, Candyel Van Horne, Courtney Van Horne, Brianna Parker, and Gabriella Van Horne, and great grandchildren, Dakota, Cheyenne, Rhett, Caden, Christian, Abigail, Vivian and Malachi, along with 2 sisters, Pat (Charlie) Earl of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Becky (Lanny) May of Upper Sandusky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter Starlena and a son Albert.

Frank attended Upper Sandusky Schools and then went on to work for Swan Rubber in Bucyrus retiring after 32 years.

He was a member for over 50 years of Emanuel United Church of Christ, Upper Sandusky and in his younger years attended Trinity Evangelical.

For hobbies he liked to put model cars together and tinker with his hands.  He also enjoyed watching wrestling, attending car shows and listening to old country music and spending time with his family whom he loved very much.

Funeral services for Frank Barth will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Pastor Jay Scott officiating.  Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery.

Visitations will be held 1 hour before service time at the funeral home on Wednesday.
