Francis S. Andrew Jr.

Francis S. “Butch” Andrew Jr., age 77 of Upper Sandusky, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 9, 2026.

Butch was born on August 9, 1948, in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, to Francis S. and Ann (Lauteri) Andrew Sr. Butch married Pamela Novak on June 21, 1969, and she survives in Upper Sandusky.

Butch is also survived by his 2 sons, Carl Lee Andrew, and Thomas Michael Andrew, both of Upper Sandusky, granddaughter Taylor Denny of St. Petersburg, FL, 2 brothers, Gerald (Connie) Andrew of New Smyrna, GA, David Andrew of Boynton Beach, FL, brother in law Michael (Susan) Novak of Macedonia, OH, sisters in law Deborah (Ron) Bailey of Upper Sandusky, and Candee Novak of Herndon, VA.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents, and brother in law Charles Anthony Novak Jr.

Butch graduated from Belle Vernon High School in 1967 and then joined the United States Army where he served in Vietnam as a helicopter mechanic. After his service, Butch worked at a steel mill in Pennsylvania until he moved to Florida where he drove a truck for 26 years, until he retired in 2013.

Butch enjoyed spending time in Amish country with his family. He was also an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to races while he was living in Florida. Butch also loved watching the Steelers.

Services for Butch will be private.
