Frances M. Brashares

Frances M. Brashares, age 95, of Wharton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday,
February 7, 2015 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing Home in Upper Sandusky.

She was born on October 3, 1919, in Wyandot County, Ohio
to Wheeler and Edna (Crawford) Kimmel, both of whom are deceased. She married Dwight Brashares and he passed away on March 20, 1999 after 59 years of marriage.

Frances is survived by a son, Perry (Jane) Brashares of St. Simmons Island, Georgia, and a daughter, Janet (Ron) Zimmer of Vandalia, Ohio, along with 4 grandchildren, Chantell (Fred), Nicole (Barry), Jeffrey (Anne) and Wendy. 4
great grandchildren, Samuel, Tatum, Elise and Charlotte.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Frances was a homemaker and was a lifelong member of the Wharton Church of God.

For hobbies, she enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and baking.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date for the family.

Memorial contributions in memory of Frances may be made to the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing Home or the Wharton Church of God and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
