Floy Jane Creamer

Floy Jane Creamer, age 86, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at 8:55pm at Fairhaven Home in Upper Sandusky.

She was born on January 23, 1924 James and Loma (Culver) Houser, both of whom are deceased. She married Robert Creamer on June 27, 1942 in Upper Sandusky and he survives in Upper Sandusky.

Also surviving is a daughter Phyllis Koehler of Upper Sandusky, and a son Robert (Janet) Creamer of Roanoke, Virginia. 6 Grandchildren, Barb Montaque, Didi France, Jenny Ham, Laura Lewis, Jessica Creamer, Brad Creamer, Jeff Koehler and Kristi Swartz along with 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Carl, a grandson Carl Brady Creamer , a brother James Houser and a son in law Terry Koehler.

Floy Jane was a homemaker and worked for 23 years as a cook for The Village Restaurant in Upper Sandusky for Phil and Ruth Cavanaugh. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky and the former MOM's Club in Upper Sandusky. She was a 1941 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School.

For hobbies, Floy Jane enjoyed doing things with her husband Robert including traveling, going to Cleveland Indians baseball games, bowling and cooking for her family and the most important thing for Floy Jane was her family.


Funeral services for Floy Jane Creamer will be held at 12:00pm Thursday, December 30, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Wayne Geissinger officiating.

Visitations will be held 2 hours before service time on Thursday, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the funeral home.
