Eunice I. Cover

Eunice I. Cover, age 86, of Nevada, Ohio, died on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11:40AM at the Bucyrus Community Hospital in Bucyrus, Ohio.

Eunice was born on April 22, 1926 in Nevada, Ohio to William and Lela (Yohe) Kissling, both of whom are deceased. She married Dale Cover on March 1, 1945 and he died on February 5, 1999.

Eunice is survived by two sons, Bill (Sherry) Cover of Nevada, Ohio and Tim (Crystal Freeman) Cover of Nevada, 3 grandchildren, Todd (Heather) Cover, Nevada, Shelby Smith of Scottsdale, Arizona, Laura Boone of Scottsdale and 6 great grandchildren, Alyssa Cover, Marcus Cover, Aaron Cover, Keegan Smith, Brandon Boone and Bella James Boone. And a special family friend Gloria Zulauf of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Kenneth, Noland and Dale Kissling and 4 sisters, Phyllis Niederhauser, Jane Bright, Hazel Boehm and Nova Pry.

Eunice was a graduate of Nevada High School 1944 class. She was a homemaker and also worked at Handy Twine Knife Company and enjoyed helping her husband Dale on the farm.

She was a member of the Tiffin Glass Club and of the former OES member in Nevada and at one time active in volunteering with the Rainbow Girls. When Wynford School was built, Eunice was as active with the boosters in the raising of funds for the football field and track.

For hobbies, Eunice enjoyed flower gardening, collecting glass, volunteering with the Tiffin Glass Museum, and most of all she enjoyed just living the simple life
on the family farm in Nevada.

Funeral services for Eunice I. Cover will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada, Ohio with the Pastor Paul Altstadt officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Nevada Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 2:00PM - 6:00PM at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada.
