Eugenia A. Waggy

Eugenia A. Waggy, age 79, of Bucyrus, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 7:00am at her home in Bucyrus.

She was born July 11, 1932 in Nevada, Ohio to Herald and Mildred (Keller) Fackler, both of whom are deceased. She married Gail Waggy on September 23, 1949 in Nevada and he passed away on February 7, 2004.

Eugenia is survived by her companion Dick Sigler of bucyrus, 2 sons, Russell (Jeanne) Waggy of King George, Virginia, Jeff (Shelia) Waggy of Nevada, 2 daughters, Sue Hemmerly of Bucyrus and Cynthia Fruth of Bucyrus. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, Trista, Brian, Nikki, Kyle, Chris and his wife Heather, Kayligh, Senna, Michelle and husband Dave, Mark, Ron and his wife Tiffany and 13 great grandchildren along with a sister Jeannette Mathews of Upper Sandusky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister marilyn Gibon.

Eugenia was retired in 1989 from The Timken Co. in Bucyrus after 30 years. For hobbies she enjoyed ceramics, following Nascar, playing cards, vacationing to Nags Head and St. Pete's Beach where she enjoyed walks on the beach and collecting shells. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren, family and her friends.

Graveside services for Eugenia A. Waggy will be held at 11:00am Monday at the Nevada Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Lasalle officiating.

Visitations will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm Sunday, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada.
