Esther A. Fraser

Esther A. Fraser, 92, of Bucyrus, Ohio, died at 6:55 am Thursday, September 27, 2007 at the Altercare Nursing Home in Bucyrus, Ohio.

She was born on May 14, 1915 in Evansville, Indiana to John & Catherine (Beckerle) Kercher, both of whom are deceased. Esther married James C. Fraser on June 21, 1944 in Evansville, Indiana and he died February 25, 1976.

Surviving are 2 daughters: Carolyn and her husband Luigi, Miccolis of Bend, Oregon, and Diane Grossman of Nevada, Ohio. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Christopher Miccolis, David Miccolis and Jonathan Grossman, and 2 Great Grandchildren, Emily and Ashley Miccolis.

One brother Lawrence Kercher of Evansville, Indiana survives along with 5 sisters: Sister Mary Victor Kercher, OSB-Ferdinand, Indiana; Jeanne Guetling of Evansville; Charlotte Zurba of Clearwater, Florida; Eileen Weinzapfel of Evansville and Marian Seibert of Evansville.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine Kercher, a daughter Susan Winstead, 2 brothers: Robert, and Victor Kercher, and a sister, Ruth Hillenbrand.

Esther retired as a billing clerk for A. Metz Construction in Gary, Indiana. She was of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed traveling, sewing and spending time with her family.

Memorial Services will be held in Evansville, Indiana and will be announced at
a later date.
